چکیده
Seeking energy alternatives that are friendly to the environment without compromising growth of society is becoming more widespread. Biofuels from biomass processing a promising path toward development industry and early replacement fossil fuels. The purpose this work determine feasibility generating biofuels through use agro-industrial waste mathematical model for optimization supply chain production generated by food processors in municipality Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico. This case study considers available raw material, industries, period time which these available, as well possible places obtaining biofuels. results establish it obtain 7.27 × 10 7 l/year bioethanol 3.27 6 tons/year organic waste, generates profit 4.37 USD/year.

Waste Paper - Promissing Feedstock for Bioethanol Production
Modern approach to utilization of non-edible biomass is its conversion to glucose, and the following fermentation of the sugar into final bioproducts. Among various biomass types, the waste of office paper is distinguished by increased content of cellulose and negligible content of lignin; therefore it can be a suitable feedstock for bioconversion into valuable bioproduct, e.g. ethanol. An adva...
متن کاملBioethanol : Industrial production process and recent studies
Because of the recent increase in the gas price and interest in environmental issues, the demand of ethanol as substitute of gasoline is rapidly increasing. Basically, 5 steps are included in ethanol production composed of grinding, cooking, fermentation, distillation, and hydration. In each step, there are several ideas to improve its productivity and benefitablity. In this paper, I put some e...
متن کاملEffect of acid hydrolysis and fungal biotreatment on agro-industrial wastes for obtainment of free sugars for bioethanol production
This study was designed to evaluate selected chemical and microbiological treatments for the conversion of certain local agro-industrial wastes (rice straw, corn stalks, sawdust, sugar beet waste and sugarcane bagasse) to ethanol. The chemical composition of these feedstocks was determined. Conversion of wastes to free sugars by acid hydrolysis varied from one treatment to another. In single-st...
متن کاملBiotechnological Production of Xylitol from Agro-Industrial Wastes
Xylitol is a polyalcohol of five carbon atoms which is widely used in the food and chemical industry. Its interest is due to the sweetening power similar to that of sucrose. However, it has been shown that the use of xylitol as a sweetener is better due to its anticariogenecity, tooth rehardening and remineralization properties. It is suitable as sugar substitute for diabetics, and it limits th...
متن کاملKojic Acid Production from Agro-Industrial By-Products Using Fungi
A total of 278 different isolates of filamentous fungi were screened using synthetic medium for respective ability to produce kojic acid. Nineteen, six, and five isolates proved to be low, moderate, and high kojic acid producers, respectively. Levels of kojic acid produced were generally increased when shaking cultivation was used rather than those obtained using static cultivation. A trial for...
